Perched atop a coffee plantation bound by unending valleys and hills, The Porcupine Castle is just great for minds and souls that need soothing care. Never too crowded in a vast expanse of verdant nature. Taking its name from the native 5th/6th generation of Porcupines, this plantation resort is home to a heady mix of traditional Kodava (Coorg) culture and hospitality
The Porcupine Castle is a venture of the Thattarkunnel family, where Thattarkunnel Paulose bought this plantation of approximate 250 acres, consisting of Coffee, Pepper, Cardamom, Jackfruit, Butter fruit, Bananas, and many others. Today, the plantation works to a self developed a sustainable model of farming, and practices a meticulous standard of hospitality almost entirely reflecting the family’s heritage and legacy.
